She will discuss what she wishes she had known before her first conference and offer valuable advice to newcomers. Following the presentation of essential tips, there will be a Q&A for all unanswered questions, as well as an optional break-out activity at the conclusion for participants who want to meet and connect with fellow attendees before the conference. Nicole Kaijser
Nicole Kaijser serves as Manager of Learning and Programme at the EAIE overseeing and designing all online and in-person learning activities for the association. Passionate about learning design, she trains and provides instructional design support for all contributors to the training programmes, webinars and Annual Conferences and is always on the hunt for the newest participant engagement methods.
In her spare time she also volunteers as an elected member of the Associations and Conferences Forum (AC Forum) Board in the capacity of Education Officer, organising all educational activities, workshops and the Annual Meeting programme as Chair of the Education Group. Nicole has worked in various event and programme capacities for higher education institutions in the UK.

Alejandra Otero is the Founder & CEO of geNEOus. Alejandra created geNEOus with the aim of reshaping the future of education by giving support to educational institutions in the integration of marketing and admissions solutions in line with the expectations of the 21st century. Through geNEOus she focuses on marketing and recruitment consultancy to higher education institutions, K-12 schools, agents, and language schools. Prior to that, she was a higher education intrapreneur in the USA and Europe with roles within the Marketing, International Relations and Admissions Departments. Alejandra is also a speaker in subjects such as digital innovation, marketing automation, international education and sales enablement. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic and Social Administration and a Master's degree in Enterprise or Business Unit Management. She was elected as a Steering Group member for the Expert Community Marketing and Recruitment for the 2022-2024 term.
