The theme of the event is achieving inclusive internationalisation in Dutch higher education.
The theme of the event centres around the urgent concern of achieving inclusive internationalisation in Dutch higher education. Internationalisation is a key tool to improve the quality of students’ educational experiences and outcomes, and access to such benefits should be widely available to all students. In the Netherlands (as elsewhere), the realities of both shifting political priorities and longstanding gaps in access by underrepresented groups require international education advocates to pay ever closer attention to the work of achieving inclusive internationalisation.
For the inaugural event in the EAIE Internationalisation Insight Series, we are collaborating with Nuffic, the Dutch organisation for international education, to bring together mid- and senior-level higher education professionals working on policies and strategies in the field of international education in the Netherlands. Join fellow colleagues on 06 March 2025 in Utrecht for an afternoon of candid conversations and networking.
Individuals working in the Dutch higher education context with mid to senior-level roles as professionals, academics and policymakers who are interested in the intersection between internationalisation and inclusion and diversity. Those responsible for institutional or governmental strategies and agendas, mobility programming, curriculum design, and student engagement and development, would be particularly well-suited to attend this event. This event is not designed for early career or junior-level professional or academic staff.
The EAIE Internationalisation Insight Series comprises small-scale regional gatherings that bring critical topics in internationalisation to the fore, explored through the lens of local policies and perspectives. Designed for mid-to senior-level professionals, academics and policymakers, each Insight event will focus on a theme of current interest and feature speakers that will help frame the topic.
