Award for Outstanding Contribution

The EAIE community is filled with dedicated and inspiring colleagues who go above and beyond to support others. This award celebrates individuals who have generously given their time and expertise to enhance the experience of the EAIE community. Whether through leadership, mentorship or other volunteer efforts, this award recognises individuals who have contributed their valuable time and expertise to the Association and the European international higher education community at large. The award can be given to up to four members. Take a look at this year's questions to start preparing your nomination.

 

Prizes

We want to inspire the wider community about the power of sharing your knowledge and time to empower others. The winner will receive:

  • Extensive visibility at the EAIE Conference and Exhibition, including at the Opening and Closing plenaries and on event signage.

  • Two fee waivers for the EAIE Annual Conference and two invitations to the President’s Reception for the award ceremony.

  • An EAIE award to display.

  • Additionally, the nominator will also receive a conference fee waiver and invitation to the President’s Reception.

Eligibility criteria 

  • The nominee and nominator must be an EAIE member.

  • The nominee has made a significant contribution to the Association’s work in roles, such as mentorship, speaking engagements, authorship, emerging leadership, training, research contribution, fostering connections between Europe and other global players, and/or other volunteer roles that significantly impact the Association's work.

Nominations for the 2025 EAIE Awards will open soon! To give your nomination the best chance of success, take some time to craft responses to the following award questions. We recommend keeping each answer between 100–200 words. 

1. How has the nominee actively contributed to the work of the EAIE?

Please provide specific examples of how they have offered their time and expertise (eg, mentoring, trainer, author, volunteer, speaker or other significant roles). 

 

2. How has the nominee helped improve the experience for EAIE members and the community?

Share specific examples of initiatives or projects they have been involved in.
