Anne Schiller is Professor of Anthropology at George Mason University. Her research interests include identity, transnational mobility and religion. Her geographic foci are Italy and Indonesia. She was founding Vice President of Mason’s Office of Global Strategies and involved in negotiations that led to the establishment of Mason’s Korea Campus. She currently serves as her institution’s Fulbright faculty liaison and is working on a book manuscript entitled "Foreign Locals: Strangerhood and Belonging in the Heel of the Boot."
