Eero Loonurm works in the Estonian Education and Youth Board. His responsibilities include the development and execution of the national higher education promotion for “Study in Estonia” and representing Estonia in migration and employability related working groups on the national level and European level. He was the working group member of the national strategy “Estonia 2035” and is the Management Committee member of the COST project “European Network on International Student Mobility: Connecting Research and Practice”.
He is also the advisory board member for "Research in Estonia", and the marketing and communications expert in promoting Europe as a study destination for the European Commission service contract “Study in Europe”.
He will be presenting in the EAIE Toulouse 2024 sessions: "International students as ideal immigrants: How to raise their contribution to the labour market (S4.12)" and "The advocacy role of practitioners in pushing internationalisation forwards (S6.11).
