Janet Ilieva is the founder and director of Education Insight, a research consultancy specialising in international education policies, sustainable development, global student mobility and university partnerships. Education Insight launched the Global Engagement Index (GEI), which captures the state of internationalism across UK higher education institutions, student and graduate outcomes and higher education institutions’ engagement with the sustainable development agenda. Janet extensively researches higher education engagement for governmental departments, international organisations and universities. She frequently speaks at national and international education conferences.
