Simone Hackett is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Her background is in sociology and education. She specialises in educational science specifically testing the effectiveness of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and its instructional design. Simone is a member of the EAIE Research on Internationalisation Thematic Committee. Prior to this she was a member of the EAIE General Council as well as the EAIE Conference Programme Committee. She regularly presents and publishes articles on topics related to education and internationalisation nationally and internationally.
