We are starting this year with an exciting update to the EAIE Community Platform. In the upcoming weeks, the platform will get a fresh new look, offering a more interactive, intuitive and user-friendly experience, making discussions and knowledge sharing easier than ever before. Whether you're new to the Communities of Practice or want to dive back into past discussions, here are the top five things you will love about the updated platform to help you get the most out of your experience!
1. Engage in interactive conversations and lively posts
🙋 Use emojis, hyperlinks, tags and more to add a personal touch to your posts and replies. Give a like to your favorite posts!
🎥 Embed videos, images and files for richer discussions.
🔗 Add smart hyperlinks that preview content in the site to keep conversations flowing.
2. Access conversations anywhere, anytime
Our platform is powered by Discourse, a best in-class and popular discussion forum, which offers connectivity with push notifications and easy navigation. Engage with the community through the Discourse mobile app to access and join discussions on the go from your device.
3. Join the new Social Space and EAIE News groups
Alongside the Communities of Practice, a new way to connect with your EAIE community is by joining our Social Space group. This is the perfect place where you will be able to engage in fun discussions about any topic from travel experiences, city tips, favorite hobbies or to simply introduce yourself and find like-minded peers. Feel free to start a conversation on a topic that sparks your interest!
You will also be able to stay up to date on the latest news, events and resources to support your daily work through the EAIE News group.
4. Stay informed with fully personalised notifications
Receive notifications by email from your favourite groups, posts and subjects of interest as often and when you like. You can customise your notification preferences to send you updates at the intervals that suit you.
And here is the best part! You can reply directly to comments or posts from your email. Your reply will automatically be posted on the platform in the discussion.
5. Find what you need and save your favorites
The new EAIE Community Platform makes it simple to search and stay organised. You can quickly find posts by user or category with advanced search features. The bookmarking tools allow you to save threads and revisit them later when you need them, as well as bookmark your favourite topics.
