Conference badge collection and registration
All participants must collect their badges before the workshops, sessions, Netwalking activity, and Opening Reception on Tuesday. A QR code will be sent by email, please make sure you have it at hand on your device at the badge collection points (click 'View online' in the footer if it doesn't display in your email). that Please note that it is not possible to collect badges on behalf of other attendees.
Badge collection point in the city centre
Badge collection is available on Monday and Tuesday in the city centre at the Matabiau train station for those who want to attend the Opening Reception and will not be at the conference centre during the day on Tuesday.
Address: Hall M, Toulouse-Matabiau train station, first floor (on the left side upstairs, as you enter the main hall of the station building)
Monday: 13:00–16:30
Tuesday: 14:00–19:30
Note: At this location, participants will only receive their badge and free public transport card. The conference tote bag can be picked up at the MEETT conference centre.
Badge collection and walk-in registration at MEETT conference centre
Participants who arrive on or have activities on Tuesday or would like to register onsite can pick up their badge and conference bag at the conference centre from Tuesday to Friday.
Tuesday: 07:30–18:00
Wednesday: 07:30–18:00
Thursday: 08:00–18:00
Friday: 08:00–15:00

Opening Reception
Thanks to a record-breaking conference and immense interest in this event, there will be ticketing on a first-come, first-served basis for the Opening Reception. Participants can claim their free entrance ticket at a badge collection point. Please note that both the participant badge and entrance ticket are needed for entry.
Security measures
Please note that French Vigipirate regulations are in place in France and therefore we have extra security checks at the venue entrance and the Opening Reception. A mandatory security checkpoint is located near the venue entrance and the Cloakroom. You will have the option to leave your luggage at the Cloakroom before passing the security check. Small bags will be allowed inside, but please be prepared for bag checks at the security checkpoint. We advise you to plan your daily trip to the venue with these extra security checks in mind.
The conference badge grants access to the venue, events and special areas and lists that you are preregistered for; please have it with you at all times, entry will be denied without it. If you are planning to attend the Opening Reception on Tuesday but will not be able to make it to the conference centre during the day, we advise you to make use of the city centre badge collection point on Monday and Tuesday at Hall M located at Matabiau station. See opening hours above.

Important to note! The EAIE Exhibition, Catering Hall and EAIE Member Lounge are closed on Tuesday.
Virtual event platform
The platform is your go-to space for the most up-to-date programme and schedule. Schedule your meetings, view the full participant list and explore who is exhibiting before you even arrive in Toulouse. Every participant will have access until 11 October.
Your username is the email on your My EAIE account, and your password is the booking reference code found under My events. You can reset your password after the first-time logging in.
Please note, there may be a delay of up to 1 working day between registration and access to the virtual event platform.

Tuesday at a glance
Badge collection is available on Tuesday in the city centre for those who want to attend the Opening Reception and will not be at the conference centre that day. The address to pick up your badge is Hall M, Toulouse-Matabiau train station, first floor. It will be available on Monday from 13:00 to 16:30 and Tuesday from 14:00 to 19:30. At this location, we will only offer a limited badge and free public transport card collection service.
Although the EAIE Exhibition, sessions and Member Lounge won’t be open, there is still plenty to do on day one. Come by to learn about the new Community Platform and discover ways to get more involved with the EAIE community. Stroll through the carnival-like EAIE Village to get in the mood to celebrate 35 years of the EAIE.
And don't forget to wrap up your day by joining the largest networking event of the week at the Victor Hugo Marché, a covered market in the heart of Toulouse, where you are invited to embark on a gourmet stroll–a tasty and festive start to the week!
Getting around in Toulouse
Public transport
We advise using the local public transport system for daily MEETT travel. However, shuttle buses to and from the city centre will operate during peak traffic hours.
Please plan your trip via www.tisseo.fr/en/home for the latest public transport routes.
Shuttle bus schedule
Morning schedule: The pick-up point is the Bus Station ‘Gare Routiere’ near Matabiau Train Station.
- Tuesday: 07:30–10:00
- Wednesday: 07:30–10:00
- Thursday 07:30–10:00
- Friday: 07:30–10:00
Afternoon schedule: The pick-up point is the tram and bus stop ‘MEETT’ in front of the venue. Please follow the ‘Exit to tram/bus stop’ signs in the conference centre.
- Tuesday: 17:30–19:00 (Please note, that this is a special route. The drop-off point for all buses on Tuesday afternoon is the Jean Jaurés area close to the Victor Hugo Market where the Opening Reception is taking place.)
- Wednesday: 17:00–19:00
- Thursday: 17:00–19:00
Friday (two routes available):
- To the Matabiau train station: 12:00–17:00 |
- To Toulouse Airport: 12:00–17:00
Car parking and taxi
If you are coming by car, there is paid secure parking at the venue. Parking for an hour costs €2,54 including VAT.
Please be aware that the taxi drop-off at the venue is at the tram stop 'MEETT', closest to the venue entrance and security checkpoint. Ensure that your taxi driver knows this beforehand.

Community Drop-in Area
Visit this area to meet fellow Communities of Practice (CoP) members, join discussions, and learn about the Community Platform and how to get involved with the EAIE community. CoP discussions will take place in the campfire area, and you can find details about these and other activities in the daily schedule. A few timeslots in the campfire area are still available on Friday. If you'd like to book one for a last-minute CoP discussion, please stop by and check availability with a staff member.
Additional seating is available for smaller group discussions and knowledge exchange that do not require booking (please note, this space is not intended for commercial meetings).
EAIE members can also drop by to pick up their special member pin.
EAIE member perks at the conference
From Wednesday to Friday, EAIE members have access to the exclusive Member Lounge, where they can focus, refuel and relax. The lounge offers extra space for meetings, complimentary refreshments and chair massages.
On Friday, 20 September at 10:30, members can attend the EAIE Membership session to meet the EAIE Leadership, learn about the future of their membership and discover ways to engage with the EAIE next year. Members are also encouraged to visit the new Community Drop-in Area to collect their EAIE member pin.

Networking Journeys
#EAIE2024 features four brand new networking events. The Networking Journeys allows you to spend the evening with like-minded colleagues connecting through fun activities over food and drinks. You can add any of the four events to their bookings before and during the conference.
