How does it work?
Using the new EAIE Learning Management System (LMS), powered by Brightspace, each new online course delivers an engaging experience to help you develop your skills at your own pace. Courses will be added throughout the year on various relevant topics covering a distinct area of the EAIE taxonomy.
Once you purchase one or more courses, you will gain access to the LMS platform where you can follow and complete the course within three months. The courses combine a mix of learning formats (presentations, quizzes, discussion forums and tests) for a dynamic and interactive experience.

What are EAIE Academy On-demand courses?
EAIE Academy On-demand courses are self-paced, online courses designed for professionals who are new to the field of internationalisation or for those looking to expand their knowledge of specific areas within the sector. They offer foundational content on key topics and can be completed at your own pace, using a mix of microlearning formats.
How are the courses structured?
Most courses are divided into three units, each lasting approximately three hours. The units are designed to be completed at your own pace, and they include a mix of presentations, quizzes, discussion forums and tests to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience.
Are there any prerequisites for taking these courses?
No formal prerequisites are required. The courses are designed for beginners or those with limited experience in the field of internationalisation, so you can jump right in!
How do I purchase one of the available courses?
The Academy On-demand offers foundational training on a variety of topics. Currently, the courses Introduction to student and staff mobility; Introduction to social responsibility; Ensuring success across the international student-alumni lifecycle and Introduction to leadership, strategy and policy are available for purchase and more on-demand courses will be added later this year. Simply choose the course you're interested in, follow the instructions to purchase, and start your learning journey.
How do I access the courses?
You will access the courses through the EAIE Learning Management System (LMS). Once you’ve signed up and purchased a course, you can start learning immediately. You can find your purchased courses via the EAIE website under My account > My courses. Please note, you can only access the My courses page once you have made a purchase.
How long do I have to complete a course?
You will have three months to complete each course. While the courses are self-paced, we recommend setting aside time regularly to complete each unit and make the most of your learning experience within the given timeframe.
Will I receive a certificate for completing the courses?
Yes! Upon completing each course, you will become EAIE Academy Certified and earn a digital badge that showcases your expertise. This badge highlights your achievement and can be proudly shared on social media. You’ll receive an email from Credly with instructions on how to claim your badge.
What kind of learning support will be available during the courses?
While the courses are self-paced, you will have access to discussion forums where you can engage with peers. Additionally, each course is led by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide guidance and insights throughout the learning process. If you encounter any technical issues, please contact us for assistance.
Can I access the courses on my mobile device?
Yes, the EAIE LMS is designed to be accessible on a range of devices, including mobile phones and tablets, so you can learn anytime, anywhere.
