EAIE session
International higher education advocates are guided by the notion that internationalisation has the power to deliver impact – for individuals, institutions, local communities and societies at large. But who is really paying attention to impact and in what ways? This session offers key insights from the most recent EAIE Barometer survey into how professionals working in international higher education across the European Higher Education Area perceive the conversation about the impact of internationalisation at their institutions, as well as what kinds of impact are most valued by their institutions and which stakeholders are most invested in, or affected by, questions of impact. Three authors featured in the 2024 EAIE Conference Conversation Starter will also join this session to provide scope and real-world examples to this important conversation on impact in internationalisation.
