National Taiwan University is pioneering a bilingual programme that is revolutionising pedagogical approaches and achieving remarkable outcomes in the context of English as a Medium of Instruction. This poster presents the lessons learned, the challenges overcome and the path to global education. We will address the challenges of transitioning to EMI, assess student needs and explore effective teaching methods for EMI success.
Cher is the Head of Global Engagement at National Taiwan University. She leads a team responsible for developing strategies to improve global engagement and manage the programs designed to foster it, such as faculty and staff exchange programs, large scale conferences, mobility grants, and other activities aimed at creating a positive and international campus.
She also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders for the successful delivery of international projects.
