Engineering studies often have a low rate of student mobility and limited use of instruments for Internationalisation at Home. This poster explores how short mobility schemes, blended courses and Collaborative Online International Learning can help engineering students to discover the joy of international experiences and achieve transversal skills that cannot be attained through traditional teaching.
Ignacio Bravo-Muñoz currently holds a position as Full Professor in the Department of Electronics at the University of Alcalá (UAH) in Madrid, Spain. Since 2019, he has also served as the Director of Internationalisation within the International Office at UAH.
Since 2014, Professor Bravo-Muñoz has been actively involved in over 14 Erasmus+ projects, serving as the coordinator for two of them and leading the UAH team in eight others. His extensive experience in this area has led to his participation in prominent educational conferences such as EAIE and NAFSA, where he has represented UAH and led special sessions and poster presentations.
Professor Bravo-Muñoz is also a member of various committees related to European university alliances, with a particular focus on the EUGLOH Alliance. His primary responsibilities include the formation of specialized teams to establish new alliances within universities, developing international strategies to strengthen alliances beyond institutional boundaries, and advancing the educational system with an emphasis on engineering.
