International academic exchange is a key way to solve global challenges. Against the backdrop of the climate crisis, however, we need to rethink approaches to internationalisation, begging the question: How can we adapt internationalisation of higher education and science to the goals of climate protection? The poster will give an overview of the DAAD’s strategic goals and outline measures to reduce the carbon footprint while increasing the positive impact of its funding programmes.
