Simon Krisztián

Krisztián Simon is an assistant professor at the Department of English Applied Linguistics, Institute of English Studies at the University of Pécs, Hungary. He teaches various language skill development, academic writing and English as a foreign language teaching methodology courses. His research areas include teaching methodology, learning content development, e-learning and blended learning applications as well as gamification. He is also a founding member of the Center for Digital Learning Support at the University of Pécs where his responsibilities include preparing relevant materials regarding blended learning implementation for university instructors, with a special emphasis on planning and designing in a regularly held online course. Furthermore, he is also involved in the planning, organization and realization of thematic workshops and asynchronous training materials. Finally, he is also active as a pedagogical engineer in EDUC which includes international cooperation and collaboration with fellow pedagogical engineers, instructors and EDUC staff across the European University Alliance.
